This landscape review compiles studies focusing on the practical application of the HS-RDT. Thirteen research investigations explored the diagnostic efficacy of the high-sensitivity rapid diagnostic test (HS-RDT) and conventional rapid diagnostic test (co-RDT) in pregnant women, relative to molecular assays for malaria detection. Investigating data from five completed studies, the effect of epidemiological and pregnancy-related factors on the sensitivity of HS-RDT was assessed, alongside a comparative study against co-RDT.
